According to the National Association of Real Estate Appraisers, gas fireplaces increase the market value of your home by up to 12%. The National Association of Home Builders says a fireplace is one of the most requested features for homebuyers. Furthermore, it’s not uncommon to recoup all of your gas insert investment if and when you sell your home.
Studied have shown that gas fireplaces create a fraction of the emissions of pellet stoves, woodstoves, and traditional wood-burning fireplaces. Our units also produce substantial radiant heat output and warm air in your living space. You get an eco-friendly option without sacrificing performance.
There’s nothing quite like the ambiance of a wood fire on a chilly fall evening in CNY. With a gas fireplace insert, you can enjoy the comfort by the mantel minus the wood chopping, cleanup, and safety issues. For homeowners this is a hassle-free option.
That’s why we recommend making the switch from an existing fireplace. Plus, while we can do any needed repair, a gas insert is often a more affordable solution for many homeowners.

Types of Gas Fireplaces
Direct vent gas fireplace: A direct vent fireplace has a fully sealed combustion chamber which allows it to vent directly out a side wall or through the ceiling of your home. It uses rising warm air to create negative pressure to pull cold air in for combustion.
Linear gas fireplace: Modern/contemporary style rectangular fireplace, which is installed inside a wall.
Natural gas fireplace: Another term for a gas fireplace.
Electric fireplaces: An electric heater designed to mimic the look of a real wood-burning fireplace. They are usually a plug-in device that creates the feel of a real flame using LED projection or other technology.
Ventless gas fireplace/vent free gas fireplace: A gas fireplace that pipes natural gas or propane gas into a gas-burning unit. Vent-free gas fireplaces can be in-wall or freestanding. Produces substantial BTUs, and does not require a flue. Comes with an oxygen depletion sensor (ODS) for oxygen level safety. We do not offer ventless gas fireplaces due to serious safety concerns.
Gas log set: A set of artificial logs that look like a real wood fire that can be placed in a previously wood-burning fireplace. It’s an alternative to a gas insert. We do not offer log sets because they do not provide much value to customers.
Gas Fireplace Fuel Options
Natural gas: Delivered via pipeline, natural gas is a naturally-occurring mixture of methane and other gasses. You pay as you go and not all areas have it without a conversion. Very efficient.
Propane gas/liquid propane: A unique fuel processed from natural gas, propane is an off-grid fuel option that is delivered in tanks of various sizes. Homeowners are most familiar with its use in grills.
