Chimney Inspection
To evaluate a chimney’s state and functionality, we conduct a chimney inspection. Experts inspect the chimney’s interior and exterior for damage, obstructions, or other safety issues. There are 3 inspection levels. Level 1 is a visual check up on accessible chimney portions without the need for specialized equipment. Level 2 is a comprehensive inspection that includes additional checks using video inspection equipment to examine the internal condition of the flue. Level 3 is the most detailed inspection performed when levels 1 or 2 reveal problems, involving removal of certain components to access hidden areas for a thorough assessment. Inspections are recommended once a year.
Chimney Cleaning
Cleaning a chimney involves taking out soot, creosote, and other debris. Chimney sweeps remove combustible buildup that could block airflow using specialized gear. Regular cleaning increases effectiveness, lowers the chance of chimney fires, and ensures the safe functioning of fireplaces and stoves. For full upkeep, hiring seasoned chimney sweeps is advised. Cleanings are recommended at least once a year.
